Wee update
Mar. 24th, 2004 04:19 amToday: I learned my new computer is expected to be delivered two days from now, which caused me to perform the Dance of Joy. The wife of the man who was attacked in my theater called me at work to thank me for assisting the police, which made me feel lovely. I re-strung my git, so it will sound pretty (and not dead) tomorrow. The temperature rose into the forties, and has not yet dipped back below freezing, and is not expected to. Kendra once again found herself in the grip of insomnia, despite a successful day of work, so she is sleeping (or not) in my room, with Nick at Nite quietly soothing her.
Now: I'm fiddling with a custom story for a friend. It's rather fun, as it is both low-pressure and a nifty exercise in mimicking another writer's style.
By popular request: the letters in my theater's carpet are GKC, which stands for the George Kerasotes Corporation. Our theater was a GKC theater until some time in the 80s, and we haven't gotten around to changing the carpet. This tells you a thing or two about my theater.
And so, Spring begins. Not with a Bang, but with an Olufsen.
