Fucking Americans deserve what they get.

I waited in line for four hours so I could vote, and there are hundreds of thousands of liberals in Ohio who thought spending half an hour was too much. Every black person who didn't vote, every college student, every lesbian and aging hippie, every person who got so scared by the wolves that you had to vote for a fool: you deserve what you get.

The lessons I'm trying to learn from this:

• Fear works.
  
• It's not enough to offer a chance to vote against someone; you have to offer someone to vote for.
  
• Americans are even stupider than I thought.
  

I don't understand, really I don't. And I'm trying not to be as angry and hateful as I feel. But I feel embattled; if we can't defeat a double-digit IQ President who got us into a tragically mismanaged war on false pretenses, tanked the economy, drove up our deficit to record levels, and wants to turn the clock back forty years, then I really am an alien in America.
