Sometimes I call myself the World's Slowest Filker (say, Tom Smith through a glass, dorkily). It takes me years to write a filk; I hardly ever finish them.
But sometimes I do. This one, for instance, I started when I was a freshling, in 1990. And today, fifteen years later, I recorded it:
It's the End of my Last Year at Swarthmore (And I Feel Stressed) (mp3, ~3.5MB)
( I tend to think parody-lyric-spoilers are worth avoiding, so I place them behind a cut. )
Disclaimer: I'm not really a singer. And I recorded this on my Mac's eeny-weeny built-in mic, so my voice's natural sweeping majesty is a bit tinny. But as long as you're not expecting professional polish...enjoy!
