SWIL, with installed capacity to make 50,400 tonnes of copper cathodes per year at its smelter in Bharuch in the western Indian state of Gujarat, said in September it planned to scale up production to the full 4,200 tonnes per month by December.

Part rock, part funk, part pop, the Swil experience is something to behold. With the Kilgore brothers - Bill & Klan - holding down the rhythm section, you’re guaranteed the most original rock & roll being created in the Northwest. Lead Guitarist Mr. Samson, further accentuates this diverse style of music with his powerful leads, and seemingly endless onstage energy. Last, but not least, Jason completes the Swil sound with his impressive vocal style of singing, using the full spectrum of the emotional range. Thus, you have what is defined as a Total Swil Experience.

I don't know if any of you remember the Nails song 88 Lines About 44 Women. It was sort of a novelty hit in the mid-80s, and had a minor resurgence in the 90s after showing up in a Volkswagen ad. I always rather liked it, ever since I first heard it on Dr. Demento in 1985; it tends to stick in your head.

A few weeks ago, I had a terrible, terrible idea.

88 Lines About 44 Swillies. (~6MB MP3.)

Why is it a terrible idea? )

(Incidentally, thanks to the largesse of [livejournal.com profile] carpenter and [livejournal.com profile] irilyth, you can find all...er, both...of my parodies here. More will probably show up eventually.)
