Victory in the War On Christmas
Dec. 20th, 2005 12:11 amYou know Christmas shopping is going well when you've chosen a fine gift for someone—something totally unrelated to DVDs, I might add—then look down to see a sign saying "Buy this product, get a free DVD!" Blammo: two gifts for the price of one!
A trip to mallworld later, I have gifts for nearly everyone on my list (plus cotton boxers for me, 4 pr., in various lovely colors including Teal). I should still buy supplementary gifts for five or six people, and two or three are as yet unbegun, but I have many presents, and I am quite pleased with all of them. I can mail the only ones wot need mailing tomorrow, then finish up my shopping downtown—leaving some slots open for a little post-Christmas shopping in the funky shops of Portsmouth, for the fine people I won't be seeing until after Christmas.
God rest ye merry!
