Tomorrow,
adfamiliares and I are supposed to be on campus at 7:15AM, to catch a bus to New York, where we will visit the Met with a busload of classics students and faculty. There should be a little time for gadding about the city; the museum portion of the day is supposed to end in the early afternoon, and the bus leaves for home at 7PM. Somehow, I've been roped into providing movies for the bus ride, which has me paralyzed with indecision. Fortunately, I will be so sleepy that I will not even notice the mockery of the students.
It occurs to me, only now, that I may well struggle up to campus at 7:15 and hear "April Fool's!" followed by raucous laughter. For the record, that would be very mean.
