Master Wales' Maggot
Aug. 23rd, 2006 02:45 amI was shocked, shocked I say, to see that Wikipedia's articles on strathspeys, jigs, and reels were mere stubs. There are a lot of geeky Scottish dancers; what have they been doing? ("Dancing," was
carpenter's perfectly sensible answer.)
I'm not accustomed to coming across something I know more about than Wikipedia, but some of you know still more. I've done a little work, adding a section (and pretty pretty picture) on reels (the figure) to the Reel (dance) page, but I'm taking suggestions (if you don't want to edit the pages yourselves). They're pretty thin and inaccurate as they stand now.
In other news, I am amused by the "very special note from the management" at the top of Talk:Earth.
