The democratic circus

Three contested D primary races for us in Saratoga: attorney general, governor, and senator. (I thought the 21st congressional district was in question too, but apparently the scrappy backrunner dropped out.) I forgot to research the AG race, and thus abstained; I went with prevailing wisdom on governor and voted for Spitzer; and I voted for the vehemently anti-war Tasini over Clinton, which was half voting my conscience and half sending Clinton a message that her wishy-washy war stance doesn't sit well with me.

Tasini never had a chance, but he had this quote on his homepage:

That's some quote. Every vote he got is another tiny tap on Hilary Clinton's shoulder, another faint whisper of Dr. King's words in her ear.
