Hanging from the main house is a monster icicle, or a fused mass of several very large icicles, that reaches about twelve feet down from the eaves. That's about a foot longer than it was yesterday. It looks like something you'd usually see while following a tour guide with a flashlight beneath the hills of central Pennsylvania.

My camera is set up on a tripod downtairs, taking one picture of it every minute. We'll see if it does anything interesting.

In my previous post, I had set up my camera for time-lapse photography of a massive icicle, and said, "We'll see if it does anything interesting."

Short answer: no.

Per request, here's a picture of the giant icicle that threatens the residents of the main house, as it looked yesterday:

It's not a great picture, since that side of the house was in shadow, but it is one big icicle, huh? This is nifty, too. )
