Time-lapse snowfall

Because two feet of snow just wasn't enough, we're in the process of collecting another foot and a half. For fun, I pointed my camera at the porch and parking lot and let it take pictures of the snowfall for seven hours. This is one frame per minute, which is an 1800:1 time compression. Sadly, the battery ran out before the snow did, but I'm charging it up again.

Rosy-fingered snowplow

Using iMovie, I combined yesterday's time-lapse movie with the one I took starting at 3AM, which gives a nearly-complete picture of the snowstorm from 5:30PM on Friday through 10AM on Saturday. (I missed the hours of heaviest snowfall, due to having to charge the battery. Alas.)
