The trouble with a vivid imagination
Mar. 24th, 2007 03:13 amWell, that's never happened before. Tonight, I was unable to write a scene because I got squeamish. I said "Gah!" a lot and spun to and fro in my desk chair and shook out my hands. I did get it written, but I'm still squirmy. That's a good sign, I guess.
I'll contribute some real content here eventually. All is well, apart from a stupid argument with my sweetie tonight about something we basically agree on. Otherwise:

- My Wii arrived from Amazon, and though I haven't had much time to play it
adfamiliares and I do both have Miis. Link and I are fixin' to herd some goats.
- The weather is warm and wonderful; there was a little rill of meltwater sparkling in the gutter today. Gus is thrilled to be allowed back outside, and shows her appreciation by turning into batface-crazy-demon-cat.
- I made pasties for dinner the last two nights, and while the dough was the devil to work with I was able to make perfect, tiny, jam turnovers out of the scraps.
- I've seen many good movies: Casino Royale, Borat, Babel, and Slither. All recommended, for very different reasons. I'm excited about Grindhouse and The Host. The students are taking the faculty out to see The 300 on Sunday, charmingly, and I get to go with.
ajacs and
glynhogen stopped by last week, for dinner and cat-enjoying. 'Twas very good to see them. We had crêpes.
