• Vacuum dusty vents beneath computer: check.
• Haul vacuum back down ladder without dropping it on cat: check.
• Re-align round-bottomed computer by ejecting CD tray and using a little yellow notebook to square it with the edge of desk: check.
• Clean screen: check.
• Recalibrate screen gamma, luminance, and whitepoint: check.
• Detail keyboard with Q-tips and cleaning fluid: check.
• Fail to "clean" decimal point off of decimal point key after mistaking it for schmutz: check.

It's so nice to have a clean workspace again! I'm reminded again, now that it's clean, how much I love the form factor of my desklamp iMac, with the glass-bordered screen that seems to hang unsupported above the keyboard. I'll need to upgrade it one day, and I'll be sad. (Hey Apple, how's about an exciting and creative new form factor for the next iMac?)
