Well, I finally finished the scene that was interrupted by the move, two months ago. It's the talky, expository one set in the pine forest at night. My protagonist is being pissy to the only person who's been consistently nice to him, while fumbling around to find out whether he has just cause to be pissy.

It's finished; I wish it were good.

At least I finally got to talk about pangolins.
