Friday night: packed into a hotel room with
rigel,
kelilah's sister, and about thirty other people, listening to Cecilia Tan read hilarious Harry Potter slash.
Previously: a panel on religion in SF that mostly turned into a panel on "Hey, I have opinions about religion!" (Shocking, I know.) But I managed to recommend Peter Brown to the most interesting and sensible voice on the panel, so I count it a win.
Otherwise: I chatted with people from folkdance and elsewhere, and people-watched, and went home. I'm sleeping here at home during the con, since there's a warm body waiting here only a twenty-minute bus ride away, but I'm due to head back shortly. There's masquerading and dancing to 80s pop hits tonight!
Oh, and Boston, seen from two miles down the Charles on a warm winter night? Lovely.
