Arisia, day 2

Gave blood in a chilly Bloodmobile while an otherwise reasonable high school girl stared disconcertingly at my blood bag...shook the hand of Joel Hodgson at MIT and got riffed by Trace Beaulieu for my movie suggestion (Plankton)...saw a stormtrooper, a snowtrooper, two Jedi, and Harley Quinn dancing to Weird Al's The Saga Begins as piped through a full-size remote-controlled R2-D2...danced too much to 80s pop, then danced some more, then Paradise by the Dashboard Light came on...turned a lovely, drifting, poetic filk into a song about ankle-deep vomit through the power of impromptu parody...had a lovely wander around the hotel with emp42ress that ended at 6AM...discovered I'd locked my coat and boots in kdsorceress's room and woke her up after 6AM to get them¹...fishtailed home in a cab through six inches of unplowed snow.
