Progress report
Jan. 12th, 2010 11:43 pmWhen I begin revising a chapter, I create a PDF of the rough draft of that chapter and print it out so I can carry it about with me. By looking at the date I created each PDF and counting the pages, I can see how many pages per day, on average, I've been getting through. And then I can graph the data! Hooray! ( Snipped for dorkitude. )
In short: my pace has picked up substantially, except for that uptick for chapter 4. (What was I smoking? Am I out of it?) If I can stay above the 2.2 line, I can finish by my birthday. Unlikely! If I can stay above 1.5, we're talking mid-June. Plausible!
