Streeks & Blotts

When all your words look like crap, both literally and figuratively, fix the problem you can: I figured out how to clean the print heads of my printer tonight, and scraped off a tarry black wad of ink and cat fur the size of a pencil eraser. Now my fingertips are black, but my printer is printing clean text for the first time in a couple of years.

That was the easy part. But even a minor victory feels good tonight.

Victories over cat hair are never to be discounted!

Qtips and rubbing alcohol can accomplish the same. But, congratulations!

I did use a damp paper towel — it wasn't just my fingers. The info I saw said solvent would be bad, so I didn't want to risk rubbing alcohol.

And this is why I should not say things when I am sleepy - I thought you meant on the cartridge, not the print head. You win.
