Dutch ophthalmologists (it turns out I do know how to spell that) are implanting jewelry inside people's eyeballs.

"Excuse me, dear, I think you have something in your eye."
"Do you like it?"

Ugh. I'm squicky about eyes (I'm not sure if I'm more or less squicky about it since I had my own eyes sliced open, but at least that wasn't just cosmetic), so yuck. I also think I would find it very distracting looking at someone with something implanted in their eyes. I don't even particularly care for piercings...
