Food in review
May. 25th, 2004 01:22 amI should point out that I'm not nervous for any good reason; I think I've just had a little too much sugar, which can make me jumpy. Most recently, that sugar came in the form of Trader Joe's lemon crisp cookies—which are very good summer cookies, as they are light and lemony and dusted with powdered sugar. I also had a TJ's gorgonzola-pear frozen pizza tonight, which scared me at first but turned out to be quite tasty. It was more like a toasted cracker with gorgonzola and pear chunks on it than a heavy American pizza, and, therefore, also fine food for summer. I'd also recommend TJ's peppered cashews, which taste a lot like salted cashews and black pepper—i.e., yummy. (We got those primarily for Kendra, who only likes one flavor of jellybean: the black pepper ones that come with Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.)
I was up far too late last night, finishing the first draft of a fanfic. I don't normally write such things, at least not since Babylon 5 was on the air, but this was by special request of a friend, and after a little while I did find myself caught up in it. I plan to revise it tonight.
For the sake of honesty, I suppose I should bite this meme: "If there is one person you can't stop thinking about, post this same exact sentence in your journal." I'm not sure exactly how accurate—or inaccurate—that is just now, but there it is.
