K. is a dummy, despite her PhD, so when she created her new LJ account she accidentally entered her birthdate as 8/10/05. LJ now thinks she is under 13, and won't let her edit her user info to fix her birthdate. Does anyone know how to get out of this catch-22?

[Edit: we have fixed the problem, and LJ now thinks I am K.'s parent. Hooray. Anyway, say hello to [livejournal.com profile] adfamiliares. She may or may not ever post, but she will be able to comment, which is the key thing.]

As [livejournal.com profile] adfamiliares adds people to her friendslist, I am remembering the many mispronunciations of LJ usernames I've made in the past. For instance:
  • [livejournal.com profile] uncleamos does not start the way "unclean" does. (Took me ages to figure that out.)
  • The first bit of [livejournal.com profile] prisminawindow is not pronounced "priz-mee-na".
  • [livejournal.com profile] tirerim is not, as [livejournal.com profile] adfamiliares thought, "tee-REH-rim". [Edit: Oh, and for a long time I thought he was trireme.]
Anyone else have this problem?
