San Diego hootenannies?

adfamiliares and I will be in San Diego for the first weekend of 2007, attending the APA. She will be busy, but will have some time for sightseeing, and I will certainly have a lot of time to kill. Any suggestions for things I should see or do (apart from the zoo, which I've wanted to visit since I was about three)?
