It's been seven weeks since we've been together. And I'm bringing her home tomorrow.

I just spent a few minutes getting everything ready — packed the bag, double-checked the receipt, plugged in the battery to charge.

Checklist: sweaty-palms, fidgeting, failure to concentrate, anticipatory hollow feeling in my stomach. All the signs are there.
