Humbug

I am currently enjoying day 6 of a miserably drippy cold, and day 12 of mysterious lower-back pain. None of this, nor the foot of snow we got today, gets me out of my weekend responsibilities:

1. Touching up our wedding photos in time to give wedding photo CDs to our family for Christmas. (222 of 333 are done. The process takes one to three minutes per photo.)


2. Finishing the remaining 75% of my Christmas shopping (Coolidge Corner tomorrow, and Newbury Street and Harvard Square Sunday).


3. Cooking delicious baked macaroni & cheese with linguiça tomorrow.


4. Baking cookies for adfamiliares's cookie exchange at church on Sunday.

I'm now wrapped in a blanket on the couch, with a heating pad against my lower back, watching four back-to-back episodes of My Own Worst Enemy and praying I'll wake up tomorrow with a clear head and no stabby twinges in my back.

Night off.
