Oho! I've finished page 100. That merits a celebration of some sort, does it not?

I've also started chapter 6, tentatively titled The Onion Empire. If I decide to go with chapter titles. If I don't, I guess future fans can Google for them and write them in their copies with their Bic Biros, or whatever future fans will annotate books with in the future. Possibly Space Pens, or the twigs of gengineered Fountain Bushes.

(People are all in a kerfuffle tonight about our old science fiction club voting on whether to change its traditional name, SWIL. I figured my time was better spent writing. Also, running through the streets at midnight to take pictures of unexpected fireworks, watching half of Zardoz ("The penis...is evil."), and eating fried clams. Mmm, fried clams. I did not eat them with tartar sauce, because I am wary when the words "no preservatives", the expiration date "2/18", and the ingredient "mayonnaise" coincide on the same bottle in April.)

I tried to watch Zardoz once. I really did. But it was just too painful. And my tolerance for (certain types of) crap is really high.

At the deli where I used to work, we would just mix up some tartar sauce of mayo + pickle relish, if you happen to have those condiments. Yum, fried clams. And congrats on the writing milestone!
