The Mouse with Four Fingers has blocked Miramax from releasing Michael Moore's new anti-Bush documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11. Moore's agent says Disney is worried that the movie would threaten Jeb Bush's tax breaks for Disneyworld; Disney says they don't want to release a controversial movie. Either way, the Mouse doesn't come off looking good.
Aviel D. Rubin, CS prof at Johns Hopkins, says electronic voting machines are "terrible". "Not only have the vendors not implemented security safeguards that are possible, they have not even correctly implemented the ones that are easy."
