Mog in the Big City
Aug. 24th, 2008 03:06 pmWe were treated to a lovely, 22-hour visit from
mogwit last Tuesday-to-Wednesday. She's the adorable queer Obie girl we (re-)met at Pinewoods this year, and she is much better about sending thank-you notes than we are, since we have already received two (one physically and one electronically). We ate Wagamama noodles and drank Tealuxe frozen teas, watched Labyrinth, and searched in vain for the Make Way for Ducklings ducklings in the Common. Swattie Jeff K. and I startled each other when it was he who popped out of the car that was taking her back to Pinewoods.

Date: 2008-08-24 07:34 pm (UTC)Mog = the name of the cat and
your cat = the cat in the story and
Make Way for Ducklings = a children's book, just like _A Necklace of Raindrops_
which is a children's book with lots of neato alternative stories in it and includes the story of Mog, the cat who ate some yeast, went out in the rain and then laid by the fire to get warm, but started to rise and became a GIANT KITTY.
Totally random, but it seemed like such a coincidence. If only you'd talked about bread somewhere in that post ...
