I thought I was done making fun of Diane Carey's Dreadnaught! but that was before I read this:
"Bisqued"? It turned his fear into a deliciously rich seafood stew?
I guess she was referring to potters' jargon, specifically the process of "bisqueing" pottery, in which the clay is fired before the glaze is applied. But...well, no.
Vulcan training bisqued his fear.
