Another "Dreadnaught!" dreadful

"Bisqued"? It turned his fear into a deliciously rich seafood stew?
I guess she was referring to potters' jargon, specifically the process of "bisqueing" pottery, in which the clay is fired before the glaze is applied. But...well, no.
