Vanilla is one of my favorite scents: as Joel Robinson says, "Dab a little behind each ear, and you'll smell like a cookie all day!" One of Miriam's quintmates had a bottle of "toasted vanilla and sugar" soap in the shower, which tempted me so much I bought myself some yesterday. (I'm such a girl.) It does smell lovely, though I felt a bit like I should lie down on a baking sheet when I stepped out of the shower.

I've got a bit of a cold, which manifests itself in a scratchy throat and an overall weariness. Miriam has a cold as well, so I suppose that explains that; I spent a lot of time with her, and we were both sleep deprived, and her fast probably left her weak and susceptible. It's a small price to pay for this weekend, certainly.

This leaves the ultimate origin of the cold up for discussion, since one of us had to get it from somewhere. I'm pretty sure I did not catch it from the ML Blob. Although they are the most likely disease vector, I managed to avoid becoming absorbed—though there was one close call in ML Lounge, when I made the mistake of mentioning that I had a Josh Smith Number of 1, and was forced to back away slowly as dangerous gleams appeared in the Blob's many eyes.

Perhaps we can blame Katy's cockroaches. I think I heard a tiny sneeze when I was playing with them.

I somehow feel like this post merits glaring at you, but I can't figure out why, exactly. Meh.

This made me laugh.

I have a Kevin Smith number of 2, and a Kevin Bacon number of 3. Does this help ?

I've started attributing my more-frequent-than-they-used-to-be colds to bugs caught on airplanes. My colds often follow plane trips. Of course, I often travel by air so it could all be coincidence.
