Reconstituted Shelob

The winds had died down by the time K. and I finished watching The Exorcist, and I have now recreated the seething nest of spiders on my porch. It's creepy, if I say so myself, and rather better than it was before, which is the way things go. This time I hammered a few nails here and there to serve as anchors, and the webbing I bought was higher-quality: less tendency to shred. I was able to build a nice arch over the entrance, and festoon it with the hungrier spiders.

I must have done a good job, because I have already caught one actual moth. (Fear not; I let it go.)
