I have now organized and archived 12 years of email.

I found an email from Shirt-Guy Tom, my first email from Our Friend In Hawaii, Mike Jittlov's phone number, ancient SWILnewsi, email from a stranger describing me as their "favorite tuba player", and spam from Centipedes A. Lamentably. I found things that made me proud, things that made me sad, things that made me wince, things that made me smile.

I lost several years worth of email in a corrupted file transfer (which I stupidly didn't verify until after I'd deleted the originals) a few years ago. It makes me sad that I've got this large gap in my email archives. Enjoy what you've got!
