Sort by song title; first and last? 'J' for Jules by Aimee Mann to Zorak's Horrorscopes: Scorpio from Space Ghost Coast to Coast. (Ignoring everything but letters, the first song would be, fittingly, A by Barenaked Ladies.)

Sort by time; first and last? I have a bunch of zero-time tracks (don't ask why); the first song of positive length is Potato Bug Mangler by Look People, 2 seconds. The longest track is a full-CD interview with Elvis Costello, followed by a 37-minute investigation of whether or not Paul McCartney is still dead. The longest legitimate musical track is Charlie the Hamster Sings the Ten Commandments, at 23:11, and let me tell you it's 23:11 of exactly what it sounds like.
